WHAT I DO
I lead strategic communications for technology companies navigating their most critical moments: from M&A complexity to public scrutiny, from funding announcements to crisis management from building systems from 0 to hypergrowth.
In 2025, I led PR for Windsurf (AI coding unicorn) through one of the year's most complex acquisitions, navigating competing offers from OpenAI ($3B) and Google ($2.4B), coordinating crisis communications across 20+ tier-1 outlets, and preparing executives for high-stake interviews resulting in zero reputational damage, balanced coverage, and maintained stakeholder trust.
I have served as a strategic advisor to CEOs and the executive team, coaching them to refine their leadership voice, sharpen their positioning, and navigate defining moments with confidence, from first major media appearances to in-person stages.
Before that, as VP at Checkerspot (founding team), I built the corporate communications function from 0 to 1 building a team across three locations, securing $106M in funding, launching 2 brands and 15 products, navigating a CEO transition, and earning recognition including TIME Magazine's Best Invention Award and an invitation to present at the World Economic Forum as a Global Innovator.

Curiosity is my superpower. I'm a former scientist who pivoted from engineering microalgae to engineering narratives, because even the most groundbreaking technology fails without the right story. I still read research papers to find the hook, analyze data to understand what matters, and enjoy working directly with technical teams to distill complexity into clarity.

I believe the most transformative technologies require the most thoughtful communication. I’ve dedicated by life to innovation that serves humanity, whether it's AI systems that democratize access, biotech that addresses climate change, or health tech that saves lives.
What drives me isn't just the mission, it's the how. I thrive in the early days, building infrastructure from zero alongside founding teams. I love wearing multiple hats, rolling up my sleeves across any part of the organization. There's nothing more energizing than shaping a company's voice while simultaneously shaping its culture and foundation.
